***Second training ride (10+ and 20-25+ miles) and first training run by Janes on the Run (2.5 and 4 mile) from REI on May15th at 6:00pm.  Ends at Ben & Jerry's for a Benefit Night from 7:00-9:00pm.  Come join us for a bike ride and run buy some ice cream.  A portion of the proceeds goes to Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center.***

Best Behaved, Best Costume and Dog looks closet to owner contests.

Children's Activities - Greensboro Fire Department, Games, Clown, Ballons, Inflatables by Space WALK of the Triad (YES, FOR ADULTS TOO), Face Painting and the Greensboro Grasshoppers Mascot.

Build a Team:

Celebrate life by "Building a Team" with your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  Honor a loved one and raise money for cancer research in their name.  Get started by selecting a team name and captain.  The entry fee for each team member goes toward your team total.  See Build a Team for more details.  

In 2008, The Joann Gaddy Grimes Big Event to Fight Cancer will be holding their 14th annual event, which has raised nearly $4 million dollars for cancer research.  This year our goal is to raise $400,000.  Last year, we raised $330,000. 

We ask you to come join us on Saturday, June 7, 2008 and help us reach our goal and HELP US FIGHT THIS MONSTROUS DISEASE.  All proceeds go to cancer research at the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Research and Pathfinders Program, which gives mind, body and spirit support to cancer patients. 

 This is an event the whole family can enjoy so register now!!
